Classical Spanish Music

Fareed Haque is a modern guitar virtuoso. Steeped in Classical and Jazz traditions, his unique command of the guitar and different musical styles inspire his musical ventures with tradition and fearless innovation (www.fareed.com). 

This current collaboration, born of Fareed and AnDréa's shared interest in classical Latin music, has inspired them to select and arrange gems from the Spanish repertoire. This program will include works by Sor, Granados (revised by Fareed), and Obradors (arranged for guitar and voice for the first time ever by Fareed).

With precision and passion, this concert brings fresh life to traditional folk and classic art songs alike.
