Welcome to the AnDrea James Voice Studio for the 2026/2027 School Year!

Private Voice Lessons is an excellent way to work on technique, repertoire, sight-reading, audition-prep, and build confidence! 

How it works during the school year!

Attendance Policy:

Attendance is vital! There will be a total of 30 lessons throughout the school year, except the weeks when the school is on break (Thanksgiving, Winter,.. etc.) and finals. Each lesson will be 30 minutes long during a lunch, study hall or choir period.

Once you accept lessons for the year, you will be contacted with your exact lesson time during the school day. This lesson time will not change unless your schedule changes and we need to find a new open period for you.

Cancellation Policy:

Due to the amount of students in my studio, make up lessons will not be given.

There are 32 weeks in the school year so I have two misses to use at my discretion throughout the year. After that, If I cancel a lesson, I will arrange an extra day in a following week to makeup that lesson.

Payment Policy:

Payment is a flat fee of $158 due each month. The first payment is due before your first lesson. Payment will be automatically deducted every month for 9 months on the same date that you make the first payment.

Payments are made through my website, www.andrealenejames.net and are recurring every month for 9 months.

Payment each month includes 30 lessons throughout the year, the option to participate in 1 traditional recital, 1 coffeehouse showcase, a musical review and all your sheet music is free for the year. Each recital and showcase includes the room rental fees, the accompanist fees and extra rehearsal time, all free to you, built into your monthly fee.

The performances for this coming year are as follows:

Sunday, November 8th 1pm and 2:30pm at Playhouse 38 in Geneva MUSICAL REVIEW

Sunday, February 28th 1pm-3pm at Coroco in St. Charles COFFEEHOUSE SHOWCASE

Sunday, May 9th 1pm and 2:30pm at Baker Memorial Church in St. Charles TRADITIONAL RECITAL

If you, or your child would like to participate in my studio this school year, please subscribe by Friday, AUGUST 28th at midnight to confirm your spot. I have limited availability and there are many students interested in lessons.

Lessons will begin September 1st. Tuesdays I will be at St. Charles East, Wednesdays I will be at Geneva, and Thursdays I will be at St. Charles North. Mondays and Fridays I will be at Elmhurst University.
